So how long does a study of SEO actually take?
The answer depends upon the scope and depth of the SEO analysis to be performed.
It can be as short a period of a few months to a more in-depth comprehensive study that may also include business analysis.

Anywhere from 1 day to 6 weeks.

Is SEO effective?
An SEO study by a knowledgeable and skilled SEO consultant can be effective in increasing the targeted traffic to your website.  The exceptions to this are many and depend on whether your webmaster is making changes that may or may not affect the results, whether or not the coding of the website is SEO oriented, whether or not the coding of the website template if it uses one is SEO oriented, the popularity of your service or product, etc., etc..

How many words should the content pages have?
This question is the sexy side of SEO and there are many myths to it.
I use the word sexy here because content is what everyone is searching for and can be as little as 250 words to 2000 words per page but it is not simply filling a page with words that make the difference.  Then searchable content again can have a small word count but that depends on the popularity of the product or service.

How can I see how much traffic my website has?
There are many sites that can give you a variety of statistics for your website.  We provide you with detailed reports that we use to analyze your website and then we provide you with a formal report.

When should I begin to think about using SEO?
This is a key question because we begin using SEO when we begin to design a website.
So if you do not have an existing website then you should contact us before you even think of starting a layout or coding.
For those of you who already have existing websites, the options would be for us to create a new design to move your website into or to modify and optimize your current website.
